Background

Susie Pringle had built a strong business selling luxury women’s cashmere at upmarket events and venues. In 2016, the firm set out to make a step change in their operation; shifting the business from a cottage industry to a bigger player.

Solution

Susie Pringle decided to mail a high end catalogue to customers to drive orders.

By using Royal Mail’s Mail Made Easy service, Susie Pringle were put in touch with Document Despatch – a local mailing and fulfilment agency – who helped them clean their data, print and mail their catalogue. As Document Despatch don’t offer design services, they put Susie Pringle in contact with Stream, a local design agency who helped in creation of a beautiful ‘coffee-table’ catalogue – well-suited to their brand and high-end product.

Document Despatch lastly filled out the forms enabling Susie Pringle to receive their First Time User discount – a 20% rebate that was stored in their account for their next mailing.

Results

Susie Pringle were confident that the catalogue stimulated orders and helped support the business through a difficult trading quarter – one where competitors were heavily discounting and consumer confidence was low.
